What happens when you randomly connect with the head of marketing for an upstart airline? You might actually get through and be allowed to offer up a better visual identity. This was the case with now already defunct Peoplexpress, which tried to bring back the name of the original airline in a new way. I handled two rounds of design and presentation in a fairly small timeframe in order to get them in front of the CEO and team before they went to market. The outcome of a modern day cold call was a brand rethinking its image.
